Ashley Coffey
Mindfulness Centered Life Coaching
Hello, I'm Ashley!
I'm passionate about the power of mindfulness, self-awareness, and intentional action to help people navigate life's challenges and create meaningful change.
My approach is informed by a background in social work, addiction research and counseling, and mindfulness-based practices, as well as a longstanding interest in psychology, human behavior, and the ways our thoughts, beliefs, and habitual patterns shape our experiences. I believe that with greater awareness and the right tools, we can learn to respond to life's challenges differently and move toward a more fulfilling, authentic way of living.
I enjoy working with both teens and adults as they navigate the complexities of relationships, identity, emotional well-being, and life transitions. Adolescence and adulthood each bring unique opportunities for growth, self-discovery, and change. I'm particularly interested in helping people develop a stronger understanding of themselves, build practical skills for navigating difficult emotions, and feel more confident in the choices they make.
I hold a Master of Social Work degree (MSW), am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), and am a practicing therapist. My professional background includes addiction research and counseling, and I am a certified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) practitioner.
A note about coaching: My mindfulness-centered coaching is a separate service from my clinical therapy practice. Coaching is future-oriented and goal-focused, with an emphasis on teaching practical mindfulness skills, building self-awareness, and supporting intentional action. Coaching does not include the diagnosis or treatment of mental health conditions and is not a substitute for psychotherapy. It can, however, complement an existing therapeutic relationship.
I'm glad you're here, and I look forward to helping you pause, notice, and choose more freely.
